Come rain or shine
he wakes me up
and my first words
every morning
are to brother Jackie —
Big brother, I say,
don’t know how many times I have told you
I’m not a boy,
don’t need to be strong like you, don’t need to …
He doesn’t listen at all.

kommt aus aus den großen lautsprechern
der mittelschule Hoch-Neu neben uns
Jackie Chan mit seinem song
“Buben müssen stärker werden”
egal ob es stürmt oder schneit
er weckt mich pünktlich
jeden tag wenn ich aufwach
sag ich’s ihm als erstes
großer bruder jackie
ich hab dir’s oft gesagt
ich bin kein bub
muss nicht stärker werden, nicht  …
er hört gar nicht zu
