THE SUN GOES DOWN
the sun goes down
behind the mountains
exactly that moment
you can watch the earth move
without getting hurt
you took me upstairs
we stood in the sun
the sun went down
thank you
the sun goes up
behind the railway lines
behind the new buildings
I was still in bed when it came up
when the earth comes up
in the morning
on sunday
people get up
people run in the park
it’s nice and cold
you’re still sleeping
our neighbour upstairs
waters the plants
on their balcony
the water drips down
in the sun
on the balcony next door
all the way to the street
for a long while
