Qizi
CHARME

On the street near the gate to our compound
a car without a rear mirror
takes up a parking space
one or two years now,
all covered with dust.
People say traffic control
has been informed several times.
The car is still there.
One day I saw
someone had drawn
two characters:
自由, “freedom”.
That car had aquired some kind of charme.
In a few days
it evaporated.
