in the morning the sun
a red sliver
on the wall in our room
the kids are awake
daughter washing her hair
son on the toilet
runs back to bed
like an elephant
tomorrow he’s 12
I feel the pulse in your neck
and get up to make breakfast

die sonne ist in der früh
ein roter streifen
an der schlafzimmerwand
die kinder sind wach
die tochter wäscht sich die haare
der sohn rennt aufs klo
und noch mal ins bett

ich spür deinen hals

er wird morgen 12
ich steh auf und mach frühstück

es wird ein sonniger tag
