people’s names on the boards at arrivals
written in english
or in chinese
written in arabic script
at international arrivals, leaning against the railing
in the corridor along the exit
people are swarming
some of the names carried off by a smile or a hug
some of the names haven’t arrived at being carried off
they are waiting together
becoming familiar
some even looking in one direction
standing next to each other
beginning to talk
