ICH ÜBERSETZE

Meine Mutter sagt mir:
“Geh am Abend früher schlafen!”
Sie weiß schon, ich werde nicht
weil sie das gesagt hat
wirklich früher schlafen gehen.
Aber sie sagt es.
Und wenn ich zustimme,
heißt das auch nicht,
ich mach wirklich, was sie sagt.
Aber ich antworte:
„Ja, Mama, ich weiß schon.“
Jetzt übersetze ich unseren Dialog
ins Englische.
Mama sagt „I love you!“
Ich antworte: „I love you too!“
