THREE CHRISTIANS VISIT A FRIEND IN HOSPITAL
Gathered round the bed,
they are praying.
Each one in turn,
all different too.
Then they are singing,
they sing the same tune,
the words seem to match.
At the end they say amen.
Their friend and brother
has Parkinson’s disease.
He sits on the white linen,
keeps shaking and shaking his head.
