黄平子，男，70后，中学教师，在《新世纪诗典》、《磨铁读诗会》、《诗快报》等发表作品。磨铁读诗会2020年度汉语十佳诗人。写作是一种编码的过程，阅读是一种解码的过程。首先，要感谢磨铁，感谢沈浩波，里所，后乞。《夏天》先在磨铁读诗会选用。磨铁的肯定，增加了我投稿新世纪诗典的信心。其次，感谢伊沙，感谢他的选稿，感谢他在新世纪诗典4000首大关这个重要节点推荐《夏天》。第三，感谢《夏天》的评论者，翻译者，推荐者。《夏天》是写母亲的，也不仅仅写母亲。《夏天》是写童年记忆的，记忆里有苦痛，又不仅仅是苦痛。我喜欢夏天，喜欢夏天的热。在最热的夏天，我也不戴草帽，一任炎热的太阳晒出我的汗，晒脱我的皮。我一直很怕冷，夏天很好，不用愁没有衣服穿，大不了打赤膊。夏天是农村的收获季节。水稻在夏天成熟，花生在夏天成熟，西瓜在夏天成熟……虽然夏天忙得人直不起腰来，但是忙过了就有吃，有什么不好呢？我的老家太窝要山没山，要水没水。我们一家人就靠几亩薄地糊口。我父亲结扎后身体不好，家里的活大多由母亲做。在农村，割稻子是最辛苦的事。头顶有烈日，脚下有泥水。水稻的长叶子上长着锯齿，像一把把小锯子。一发稻子割下来，脸上、手上，到处都是血口子。稻子上还有细细的绒毛，沾到身上，有说不出的痒。天太热，湿答答的衣服又捂出了一身痱子……这让人又爱又恨的夏天啊！2022年3月16日20点43分

10 YEARS – NPC十岁了！
10 years ago, Yi Sha 伊沙 began to present one poem each day on Chinese social media. This has become a representative collection of new poetry in the new century, aptly named NPC, New Poetry Canon 新世纪诗典.
Eight years ago I began to look for NPC poems each day, translating more and more into German and English. In 2014 my own poetry appeared on NPC for the first time. After two books of Yi Sha’s poetry, I have now published, along with Juliane Adler, the first book of a 4-volume-series of NPC poetry in Chinese and German. Here are the contents:

WINTER
On my way to the vegetable supermarket
in our compound
I see a small girl
on a big rock at the artificial lake
right above the ice going to
jump!
I am shouting:
„Don’t jump! Danger!“
But in this time
she has jumped already,
lightly,
safely
landing on the thick surface.
She turns around to me,
makes a ballet move
and becomes a small white swan.

Ich geh zum Gemüsesupermarkt
in der Wohnhausanlage,
seh auf dem Weg ein kleines Mädchen
auf einem Felsen am künstlichen See,
sie will auf das Eis hinunter
springen!
Ich schrei:
„Achtung! Nicht springen!“
aber in der Zeit
ist sie schon gesprungen,
ganz leicht
und sicher
auf dem festen Eis gelandet.
Sie dreht sich zu mir um
in einer Bewegung aus dem Ballett
und wird ein kleiner weißer Schwan.

Yi Sha, orig. name Wu Wenjian. Well-known poet, writer, critic, translator, editor. Born in 1966 in Chengdu, lives in Xi’an. Graduated from Beijing Normal University in 1989. Has written over 20,000 poems, published, translated and edited 122 books. Received the Henry Luce prize for contemporary Chinese poetry and many other awards. Invited to poetry festivals in China, Sweden, England, Netherlands, South Korea etc., incl. the 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Qinghai Lake international poetry festival, the 50th Struga poetry festival in Macedonia and many more. Vermont Studio Center fellow 2014. NPC-Anthologie 新世纪诗典
Band 1: A–J
NPC stands for New Poetry Canon, or New Century Poetry Canon 新世纪诗典, presented by Yi Sha 伊沙 in Chinese social media each day since spring 2011. NPC outside of poetry is National People’s Congress, China’s parliament that convenes in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing for two weeks each March. Yi Sha’s NPC poem of the day on Sina Weibo 新浪微博, Tencent WeChat 微信 and other platforms gets clicked, forwarded, commented 10,000 times or more, each day. Each year a book comes out, about every week there are events in Xi’an, Beijing and many, many places all over China and beyond. All produced independently from among the people 民间, not by any state organizations. This book contains poems by 81 poets listed below. This is the first volume (A-J) in a series of four books. Compiled and edited by Juliane Adler and Martin Winter, translated by Martin Winter.

NPC steht für New Poetry Canon, eigentlich New Century Poetry Canon, 新世纪诗典. Abgekürzt als NPC. NPC steht sonst für National People’s Congress, also der Nationale Volkskongress, Chinas Parlament, das allerdings nur einmal im Jahr im März zwei Wochen lang zusammentritt. 2016 was actually not bad.
We won Van der Bellen.
It was a long match.
The referee made it last the whole year.
We stayed in our league.
Which regional league is that exactly?
There are so many, aren’t there?
They lost some big matches in other leagues.
There’ll be all sorts of fall-out all over.
Anyway, we won.

Ich war bei der Demo gegen Abschiebungen am Samstag, dem 26. November 2016. Mit meinen Kindern. Eine solche Demo war nötig, finde ich. Wäre schon lange nötig gewesen. Hätte besser und breiter unterstützt gehört. Ob der Zeitpunkt des ersten Adventsamstags und die Route durch die Mariahilferstraße falsch waren, weiß ich nicht. Wichtiger wäre gewesen, überhaupt eine große Demo zu machen. Überhaupt ein großes Zeichen zu setzen. Ein Lichtermeer vielleicht. Hauptsächlich gefehlt hat eine breite Unterstützung, das Mitmachen vieler verschiedener Organisationen und Personen, die mit Flüchtlingshilfe zu tun haben. Weiß nicht, wer schuld war oder nicht. Jedenfalls war die Stimmung insgesamt nicht so gut wie bei anderen Demos, größeren und kleineren, bei denen es um Ähnliches ging. Leider. Aber wir, die dabei waren, und jene, die trotz allem versucht haben, eine möglichst große Demo zu machen, hatten recht. Ein Zeichen setzen gegen Abschiebungen bestens integrierter Menschen, die schon gut Deutsch können, in die Schule gehen etc. Gegen Abschiebungen von Menschen, die genau dafür qualifiziert wären, die besten Österreicher zu werden, die sich alle nur wünschen können, die guten Willens sind. Wir hatten recht. Jede und jeder hat recht, der oder die darauf hinweist. Christian Kern sollte es tun. Michael Häupl. Alle, die für Alexander Van der Bellen sind. Also auch Vranitzky, Busek und so weiter. Alle, die guten Willens sind. Dann hätten wir einen Cordon Sanitaire, wie in Frankreich. Am Ende hätten wir dann eine deutliche Mehrheit gegen jene, die diesen Staat und dieses Land bedrohen. Viellicht würden das sogar Niessl, Schüssel und Pröll einsehen. Wenn jemand Asyl verdient und bereits in Österreich integriert ist, warum soll er oder sie nach Kroatien? Was genau geschieht mit den Kindern, Jugendlichen, Frauen und Männern, die abgeschoben worden sind? Warum steht das nicht in Dem Standard? Geschweige denn in anderen aktuellen Medien, abgesehen vielleicht von der Wiener Zeitung? Oder habe ich es nur nicht bemerkt? Steht es vielleicht in der Tiroler Tageszeitung, hört es jemand auf Radio Stephansdom? Jedenfalls glaube ich trotz allem, wir hatten recht, zu demonstrieren. Und viele haben versäumt, mehr gemeinsam zu tun. Ich auch, wahrscheinlich.

GOODBYE TAIWAN!
These few days in Taiwan
meeting so many friends,
very precious time.
It has been almost 30 years
since I first was in Taiwan.
These few days we’ve met many authors
and fellow translators.
We also met the poet Hung Hung.
There are people in Taiwan
who meet Hung Hung every day,
and even Le Tian,
Hung Hung’s little child.
Le means to laugh, Tian is the sky.
Last night Le Tian got to meet me.
Holding him
was like holding my children
ten years ago.
We lived in Beijing, where they were born.
Tonight I am leaving Taiwan.
What if I could stay?
Nowadays in a few ways
Taiwan is doing better than Austria.
No resurgent Rightists.
First female president,
some social progress.
Very clear progress
since thirty years ago.
Taiwan is doing better right now
than Europe and USA.
Maybe like Canada,
although Taiwan is rather small.
Half the size of Austria.
But to be able to face your history,
to induce progress in your society,
these things are very precious indeed.

AUF WIEDERSEHEN, TAIWAN!
die paar tage in taiwan
waren so voller freunde,
sehr, sehr kostbare tage.
manche freunde kenn ich fast 30 jahre.
autoren, autorinnen hab ich getroffen,
übersetzerinnen und übersetzer,
am letzten abend den dichter hung hung.
ein paar menschen in taiwan
treffen hung hung jeden tag,
und sogar lö tiän, seinen sohn.
lö tiän bedeutet den himmel anlachen.
gestern hat der kleine mich angelacht.
lö tiän im arm halten ist wie vor jahren
meine kleinkinder halten,
vor zehn jahren in peking.
heute abend verlasse ich taiwan.
und wenn ich bleiben könnte?
taiwan geht es heute in mancher hinsicht
besser als österreich.
keine rechtsextremen im höhenflug,
die erste frau an der spitze,
fortschritte in der gesellschaft.
große fortschritte, in vieler hinsicht
auf jeden fall in 30 jahren.
heutzutage gehts taiwan besser
als der usa und europa,
vergleichbar mit kanada, eventuell,
obwohl taiwan recht klein ist.
halb so groß wie österreich.
deiner geschichte ins gesicht schauen können,
in deiner gesellschaft fortschritt erzeugen
sind sehr, sehr kostbare dinge.
passt auf euch auf, liebe freunde!

抱着他像十年前
抱着自己的孩子。
那時候在北京。
今天晚上我離開台灣。
如果能留下會怎麽様?
台灣目前有些方面
比奥地利好。
没有崛起的右派。
有第一位女總统,
社會有一些進步。
總共很多方面
比三十年前進步蠻大了。
目前台灣好像比歐洲美国都好,
也许有點像加拿大,
雖然台灣很小,
半個奥地利面積。
能够面對自己的歷史,

又說再見了!
這几天在台灣
碰到很多朋友
非常難得。
有的認試快三十年了。
這几天碰到很多作家
很多譯着同事
還碰到詩人鴻鴻。
在台灣有人
天天碰到鴻鴻
也碰到楽天
鴻鴻的小兒子。
昨天楽天碰到我。
抱着他像十年前
抱着自己的孩子。
那時候在北京。
今天晚上我離開台灣。
如果能留下會怎麽様?
台灣目前有些方面
比奥地利好。
没有崛起的右派。
有第一位女總统,
社會有一些進步。
總共很多方面
比三十年前進步蠻大了。
目前台灣好像比歐洲美国都好,
也许有點像加拿大,
雖然台灣很小,
半個奥地利面積。
能够面對自己的歷史,
能够促進社會改造
都非常難得的。
請朋友多保重!
希望早點再見!

Leicht gesagt, denk ich mir bei manchen Aussagen aus Österreich. Bin gerade in Taiwan. Manches ist besser. Vieles ist besser als vor 30 Jahren. Ganz, ganz deutlicher Fortschritt. Zeitgeschichte wird aufgearbeitet. In Österreich hat erst Vranitzky über 40 Jahre nach Kriegsende die Verantwortung für die Shoa,
für all die furchtbaren Greuel zugegeben. Obwohl vorher schon ein Jude 13 Jahre Bundeskanzler war. In Taiwan war 40 Jahre Kriegsrecht. 1947-1987. 1991 hat Präsident Lee Teng-hui die Verantwortung der Regierung für das Massaker von 1947 zugegeben und sich bei den Angehörigen der Opfer entschuldigt. In Österreich hat man vor 30 Jahren endlich das Vergessen der Verantwortung aufgegeben. Das haben viele damals geglaubt. Es hat auch gestimmt. Aber jetzt hat Österreich auch schon fast seit 30 Jahren vergessen, worauf die 2. Republik basiert. Thomas Bernhard und Elfriede Jelinek und so weiter hatten und haben leider recht. Mein eigenes Schreiben kommt von Ernst Jandl her. Die radikale Kritik in den Werken vieler Schriftsteller kommt für mich von der Hoffnung, dass es irgendwie möglich sein könnte, sich der Verantwortung zu stellen. Immer noch leicht gesagt, ich weiß.

變成怒火的猴子
一會儿也没了

ein segelschiff,
dann kommen sterne.
grad war ein regenbogen –
motorräder- und autolichter
auf einem eisentor.
es ist eine kirche
gegenüber von unsereren zimmern,
tagelang hab ich sie nicht bemerkt.
unauffällige kirche,
wie lungtien in luye bei taitung,
unauffällige ecke auf dieser insel.
morgen früh fahren wir wieder weg,
grad erst wird mir der ort ein bisschen vertraut.

es steht über die hälfte im wasser
wird im fluss verschwinden

EIN SACK REIS
wir produzieren viel reis in unserem bezirk
wenn unsere kinder außerhalb lernen, studieren
steht unser reis
für ihren unterhalt
ich hab gerade mit einem anderen studenten
im wohnheim karten gespielt
mein vater bringt einen sack reis
per anhalter bis zu unserer schule
ich sag wieso ist da ein schatten
ich seh meine karten nicht in der hand
dreh mich um in der tür steht mein vater
“komm raus!”
ich schlepp mit meinem vater den reis in die küche,
dort wird er gewogen, dann gehts zur verwaltung
ich krieg bons fürs essen
vater sagt sonst kein wort
schweigsam wie
100 kilogramm weißer reis

TAIWAN WHITE AS SNOW
white as snow
very much white as snow
probably very cold
makes me want to go skiing
and they’re floating in a most peculiar way
and the clouds look very different today
wish maia could see this
we will be landing in taipei soon
next year or so it will be thirty years
since I first came to taiwan
my children are the very best thing
I have ever achieved
they are born in beijing
maia was born in 2002
leo in 2005
we lived in china till 2008
wish I could bring them
they speak chinese
I studied chinese and so I came here
and discovered taiwan was very different
from what they told you
dissidents still in jail
or stuck in exile
the massacre of 1947
still not acknowledged
many demonstrations in 1989
one guy burned himself
didn’t notice that very much
but the massacre in beijing
was the one thing
I read about all the time
my chinese got much better
I had read some bei dao,
shu ting and so on, misty poets
fall and winter, news from europe
finally miracles, and rather peaceful
except in romania
some day we’ll bring the kids to taiwan
long as taiwan still stands
long as austria stands
as long as we can

CEMETERY
The cemetery is up on the hill
not far from the madhouse and worse
in the war but a beautiful park.
The cemetery has a beautiful view
on western Vienna, where I grew up
and half of the city.
Cemeteries are beautiful places
cultures of memory. Beautiful stones;
what happens if no-one pays?
Who has a flag, who has an eagle;
which fatherland did he fly and die for
in 1938?
We have two graves, with my mother or father
we visit three. Two years ago my grandmother died,
we were very close.
Who is and who isn’t down in our grave?
The one with our name,
every family has several names;
places and sites, countries and questions.
Up on the hill close to the entrance,
down and secluded not very far.
Vienna has many beautiful hills
and a beautiful river
and many waters and many souls.
Rest in peace. Thank you.
