eine für jeden Menschen in Österreich.
Keiner hat die Masken gebraucht.
Die Ministerin wurde verspottet.
Der Mann ist für Waffengeschäfte bekannt.
Er hat ein Schloss nicht weit von der Donau.
Angeblich gibt es noch viele Masken
in Kasernen, angeblich sind sie alt.
Vielleicht kann man sie noch verwenden?
Bitte schickt sie nach China, wenns irgendwie geht.

Chinese Poetry Online – Verdichtete Wahrnehmung chinesischer Wirklichkeiten im Netz:
Lesung von Gedichten, die sich in poetischer Form mit chinesischer Zeitgeschichte auseinandersetzen,
ergänzt durch eine Einführung zur Situation, in der diese Gedichte im heutigen China geschrieben und verbreitet werden – oder auch nicht.
Einführung und deutsche Übersetzungen: Martin Winter – Dichter und Übersetzer, leitender Redakteur der Literaturzeitschrift Leuchtspur (人民文学).

Am 17. Jänner, eine Woche später, veranstalte ich einen Kalligraphie-Workshop. und eine Lesung. Soviesos-Kreativraum und Bibliothek, ab 15 Uhr. Hackergasse 4, 1100 Wien. Mit dem Kalligraphen und Dichter Jiang Huhai 江湖海 (Kanton) und fünf weiteren SchreibkünstlerInnen aus China (die gleichen wie oben). Zu Mittag machen wir Jiaozi in der Gemeinschaftsküche im selben Haus, wer mitmachen und mitessen will, ist auch da schon herzlich willkommen. Eintritt frei, Freie Spende.

艾喜說得真好。難忘的兩三天一場夢。我講了天津詩人徐江《想象IMAGINE》一首，還有伊沙的《梦》，並且伊沙和徐江各種詩歌平台夢想。都是非常具体的、民间的、日常生活的東西。謝謝朋友們！多谢意大利汉学国际联邦！谢谢斯德哥尔摩大学漢學系以及遠遠從新西兰、澳洲等等來参加的学者！

Earlier this month, I attended the conference Exploring the China Dream at Stockholm University – glorious good fun including more inspiring and informative presentations than I can mention here, so just a few samples:
At the panel on film and visual culture chaired by eminent organizer Elena Pollacchi, Prof. Paola Voci introduced us to different types of virtual soft power with hilarious and scary examples of short internet films like this one (》低头人生《 about what can happen to people who live with their heads glued to small screens).
Prof. Irmy Schweiger chaired my panel on dreams in literature, in which Martin Winter (who is much quicker on the keyboard than I am and has already blogged about it here and here) read us a poem by Xu Jiang and talked about his translations of Yi Sha’s dream inspired poetry. It reminded me of Jack Kerouac’s Book of…

NIGHT LIKE AN ILLUSION
Deep in the night
I turn out the light
lie down on my bed
pitch black all around me
as if I’d been dragged into a church
can’t see anything
I stretch out my hand to touch the night
but can’t feel her skin
I kick her
but she doesn’t cry
I kiss her
but she doesn’t kiss me
I hug her
but she doesn’t hug me
I guess the night is an illusion
I love the night

DREAM #45
I pick up my son
we walk home from school
all the way talking about
a little bear
maybe it’s that boy upstairs
Little Bear is his name
now we are already
at our home
I take out my key
to unlock the metal door
it’s pitch black inside
but there is a sound!
my son shouts:
“Who are you? Man or bear?”
he shouts so loud,
that little noise
gets louder too!
I push my son
away from the door
I rush in like an arrow
leap into the kitchen
stretch out both arms
grab two vegetable knives
from the rack by the sink
they gleam in the dark
I am very glad
I had them sharpened
two days ago

von einem bären
vielleicht ist es der bub
der über uns wohnt
sein name ist kleiner bär

sperr die metalltür auf
drinnen ist es pechschwarz
und es kommt ein geräusch!
mein sohn ruft laut:
“wer ist da? mensch oder bär?”
das leise geräusch
wird jetzt viel lauter
ich schieb mein kind
raus aus der tür
stürm selbst pfeilgeschwind
in die küche
streck beide hände aus
find im regal neben der spüle
zwei gemüsemesser
die glänzen im finstern
ich bin noch sehr froh
sie sind frisch geschliffen

is my favorite active soccer player.
Maradonna and Messi
have arrived in fornt of me,
so I tell them:
“You have to win!
You must come out on top!
You must hold the World Cup!
If you guys are eliminated
our whole goddamn TV
will never stop playing
‘Don’t cry for me, Argentina’,
like it was your Memorial Day!”
Two soccer kings
look speechless at me.
Who is this impertinent Chinese fan?

maradonna und messi
sind vor mir angekommen.
ich sag den beiden herren
“ihr müsst unbedingt gewinnen!
ihr müsst weltmeister werden
und den pokal hochhalten!
denn wenn ihr ausscheidet
spielen sie bei uns im ganzen fernsehen
