KEINE GASKARTUSCHEN MEHR
Im Fernsehen bombardieren die Japaner Chongqing, 1939.
In einer Szene sieht man die Bomben ganz nah.
Meine Mutter zeigt hin und fragt,
schaut das nicht aus wie Gaskartuschen?
Wirklich ziemlich ähnlich.
Sie starrt den Fernseher an,
sagt langsam, wenn die Kartuschen aus sind,
verwenden wir Strom.

LUNCH BOX
At work I eat up my rice and so on
pour a cup of tea
into the glass box
brush back and forth with my chopsticks
drink it down in one sip
light a cigarette
and a young colleague born in the 90s cannot stop staring.
