PLÖTZLICHER VORFALL

Um Mitternacht
fängt der Drucker an zu rattern.
Ich erschreck mich,
spring aus dem Bett
und bemerke, der Hund
ist auf den Drucker getreten.
Jetzt hab ich über 30 Seiten
PCR-Test-Nachweis
meiner alten Mutter.

FAMILY RECIPE –

FAMILY RECIPE

When I was small,
when I was frightened,
my mother always gently stroked
my neck and said,
„Hug, hug, hug the neck,
fear must go away.“
She said it three times,
my fear disappeared.

Now,
when my child is afraid,
I do what my mother did,
holding, hugging, saying the words
three times around
and the crying has stopped.

DIG UP THE GRAVE

dog leftovers
come happiness
second egg
three-edged
play with marbles
by their own rules
loser goes to the grave of granny wang who died three days ago
picks up the silver ring from her finger
three-edged loses
dog leftovers, come happiness, second egg
first dig up the grave
bury come happiness
three-edged opens the coffin
come happiness bolts up cries out
scares three-edged dead
early 1980s
dog leftovers, come happiness, second egg
get together at fat doll’s wedding
drunk dog leftovers talks too much
makes three-edged who disppeared
twenty years ago
come back suddenly
