ALONE
Because of some
historical reasons,
my father took our whole family
to a remote corner of this village
so we could lead a quiet life
away from the masses.
Since then, I have a sort of natural fear
of the dark.
After many years in this way,
my grandparents died,
then also grandma and granddad
on my mother’s side.
And later some younger people.
They were all buried here,
one chasing the other.
It got more and more busy
in front of our door.
