In Austria the menace is not yet inaugurated. in Austria we will have a vile far-right chancellor in march or so. their party got 28 and a half percent in the last election in September. so they are far from an absolute majority, but all the other parties are weaker, at least nationally. there are social democrat majorities in Vienna and a few other places. Graz, the second largest city (rather small) has a female communist mayor. but these are local phenomena. the remaining conservative party leaders (their party is declining because they have tried to sound like the far right and failed to hide their corruption) go with the rich industrial leaders, who have also been failing. they want to work with the far right, rather than with the social democrats, the greens etc. Austria is going down a very bad path. Everyone knows, and apart from a few protests there seems to be nothing we can do. We hope it won’t be as bad as Hungary, also not like Slovakia, please. But we don’t know. We do know the new government won’t make inflation go backwards. It won’t bring back the relative prosperity before the Corona years, which was not that great for many anyway. But it seems we have no choice. We can only hope voters in Germany etc. won’t be as stupid.

Am Balkongeländer
sitzen Kakadus in einer Reihe,
der Himmel ist durch und durch blau.
Sie schreibt unter das Bild,
Einheit von Himmel, Erde, Menschen, Vögel.

dem OEGB-Foglar sollte Haeupl mal erklaeren, wie er die Wien-Wahl gewonnen hat. und warum in wien die f nie ueber 30% kommt, auch nicht hofer. durch abgrenzen. sonst kommt es wie im burgenland, hofer 40 und mehr.
die F hinterfragen die republik. daher waere spalten gut. ich waehle vdb. aber es gibt noch zuwenig streit, zuviel harmonie. sp u. schwarze u. neos haben hofer als 3. nat.ratspraes. ermoeglicht, wie auch seinen vorgaenger. obwohl man wusste, dass sie verbotsgesetze und damit diese republik, unser land, infrage stellen. alle, die haider etc. toleriert und nachgemacht etc. haben, also loeschnak, aber auch zilk, natuerlich cap, um von den schwarzen erst gar nichts zusagen, sind schuld an der jetzigen situation. streit ist gut. streit ist demokratie. klubzwang ist das gegenteil.
jedes mal wenn ich den niessl hoer oder seh, denk ich an zoodirektor zwengelmann. wenn sowas die spö führt, gibt es eine richtige spaltung, gründung einer neuen partei oder so.

I am going to vote for Van der Bellen. I do love the land where I come from. The land where I come from is central Europe. When Yugoslavia burned, I saw it on TV in China, and I wept, because I recognized the houses, the landscape. But Van der Bellen and his Green Party leaders are wrong when they say we should not let the FPOE divide Austria. There has been too much tolerance, too much cooperation. Too much harmony. They are the enemy of this republic. They question the laws against promoting Fascism. They behave in a way that makes them unfit to represent Austria. Everyone knows that. But all the other parties – except the Greens – have tolerated them, enabled them, cooperated with them. With the enemies of our constitution.
There should be demonstrations, rallies, concerts. Against the FPOE. For refugees. Like last October, in the Vienna City election. It worked then.

Wenn ich das Wort Faschismuskeule hoere, moechte ich gerne selbst mit einem Holzpruegel zuschlagen. Alle Reaktionen aus dem Ausland gegen die FPOE waren und sind berechtigt. Wer das Verbotsgesetz und den antifaschistischen Konsens infrage stellt, auf denen die Verfassung beruht, der darf dieses Land nicht repraesentieren. Wer das nicht wahrhaben will – und das war oft auch die SPOE, das waren OEVP und NEOS – der braeuchte sich ueber solche Reaktionen schon lange nicht mehr zu wundern. Strache bedeutet woertlich Angst und Schrecken. Wer Angst und Schrecken verhindern will, muss das klar sagen und danach handeln. Wenigstens hat Alexander van der Bellen gestern klar gesagt, dass er gegen TTIP ist und es nicht unterschreiben wird. Die grosse Unzufriedenheit in der Bevoelkerung muss Van der Bellen noch mehr ernst nehmen. Die Gruenen tun viel fuer Arbeiter und Angestellte und gegen die neoliberale Unverschaemtheit. Bei den Blauen ist es umgekehrt. Das muss man klarmachen, immer wieder, im Detail. Sonst werden wir alle erschlagen.
