We need their hair
We need their moving tears
when their heads are shaved
We need their soft smiles
in the face of brutal rules
but we don’t need their periods
We do need them to give their blood
But we don’t need
their blood down there
Don’t need to hand them sanitary pads
Don’t need to know how many they need
in a day
We need them to go on standing
Need them to cry
need them to laugh
need them to be there
to demonstrate
in the face of this catastrophe
they have achieved even more

kannst dir wieder denken wie der himmel lenkt
dass die lebewesen auf dieser erde
gleich berechtigte hoffnungen hegen
und jeder ihre hygiene befolgen
nur der mensch ignoriert die wege des himmels
macht den mund auf und will alles schlucken

A CIGARETTE
in my hotel in my bathroom
there is a strange
cigarette
from the brand
I’m sure it wasn’t me
who left it in here
four days now
I have been seeing the cigarette
with eyes of desire
from my experience in society
I know I’m not going to smoke it
although I long for it more and more
