Mu Jiang
MYSTERIOUS DEATH
Huangshuigou reservoir in late spring,
green grass in a thick mat, wild flowers bloom.
Trees growing all over.
Fish in the reservoir
swim back and forth as they please.
A kingfisher has stuck its long beak
all the way into
the reservoir message board,
ending its life,
leaving it hanging
in an elegant way
over that sign.

伊沙推荐语：好极了，很有艺术性，在这个半月的推荐诗中属于上乘之作。虽然才4.0，木匠在语言上和艺术性上的才华是明晃晃的，这么适合写诗的人如果不写诗，那就太可惜了。本典最重要的使命，就是防止这种人才浪费，雪中送炭第一，锦上添花第二。
况禹点评《新诗典》木匠《翠鸟死亡之谜》:物哀之诗。读的时候我也伴随着诗句的推进在问——翠鸟到底是因为什么走向了死亡呢？本诗没有回答。诗在大多数时候都是这样的，主要负责提醒读者注意，有没有一个固定答案，倒不打紧。
黎雪梅读《新世纪诗典》之木匠《翠鸟死亡之谜》：在一个环境如此优美，食物丰富并适合翠鸟繁衍生息的好地方，“一只翠鸟，细长的鸟喙/深深地扎进/水库公示牌/以决绝的方式/结束了它的生命”，这只翠鸟死得如此惨烈，是自杀还是意外？的确是个谜。环境的美好与翠鸟的惨死，给人强烈地视觉冲击，“并把自己/漂亮地/悬挂在了公示牌上”，“漂亮”一词将又将视觉上的刺激上升到了心灵层面：死得再漂亮，怎么比得上活得漂亮？好死远不如赖活，这是源于所有生命体求生的本能。虽然人鸟殊途，但读完此诗仍不免会有一丝淡淡的伤感。
晏非跟读《新世纪诗典》|2021.9.22木匠《翠鸟死亡之谜》
这是一首悬疑诗，有着事实的诗意。诗题指明是翠鸟之死，翠鸟为什么要赴死？诗人不是福尔摩斯，没必要去破案，破案是读者的事儿。呈现在我们眼前的是一幅充满生机的画面，暮春，绿草，野花，林木，鱼儿，清澈可见的流水，这样的美，与死亡可以无关。但悲剧还是发生了，翠鸟一头撞向了水库的公示牌。鸟类的行为有着一定的必然性，查阅资料，对这一案件现场分析，极有可能是，翠鸟一头撞向的是蓝天，那个水库公示牌一般都是蓝色的，或者是蓝天背景的，也就是说，翠鸟误将水库公示牌当成了天空！她以为自己飞往的是蓝天，实际上飞向了死亡！我当然知道，一首诗的意义可以不凭借任何一种阐释而存在，但这样一种阐释依然具有意义，那就是人与自然、人与万物相处之道，如何设计得更加具有常识，如何尽可能减少误判，比如这块人类创设的公示牌，作为极有可能引发翠鸟冲动的元凶，本身也是无辜的。
马金山｜读木匠的诗《翠鸟死亡之谜》的十一条：
1、诗意在诗之外；
2、回到内心，就是回到了诗内；
3、木匠，本名王春云，女，70后，2020年开始学写口语诗；
4、今年六月份，绵阳诗会见到过木匠一面，给人留下的印象，一位知性优雅的女性，且不泛四川人的地域爽朗气质，倍觉坦然自若；
5、木匠的诗，在口语化的表达里面，透视出深刻的人生感受，无不契合着女性的柔韧度与真情流露，日常而又绵延出语言的紧密，且不泛事物的意味；
6、本诗在一幕幕鲜活的生活场景与死亡之间，将凸显触感的场景一个又一个地呈现出来，细腻入微的味道，让人既熟悉而又充满活力；
7、在读本诗的时候，我把它分成了三个层面，这样既有助于对诗本身的理解，更加有助于感受诗；
8、第一个即是水库周边环境的呈现，是一个个画面的演绎，是一个又一个镜头的推进，让人耳目一新；
9、而第二个则是对一只鸟的阐述，并由此联系到关于死亡的话题，并将第三个底片亮了出来，尤为深刻；
10、本诗给予诗人的启示：“事物的细腻描述，是诗的另一种极致”；
11、画面之诗，场景之诗，生命之诗。

THE VIEW
the view
from the little window
in the staircase
is like a camera.
It’s a little cold.
The picture is magnificent,
but you feel the draft.
You can’t take it with you
wherever you’ll go,
but why would you want to?

FROM FLORENCE
the wine from Florence tastes very good
not a famous wine
just from the organic farmers’ market
in front of Santo Spirito

but just as real as the whole town
and the province
earthy
although this is the city
where modernity comes from
arguably
I wonder if they use wine
in Jewish services
I’m pretty sure they had wine
at the big wedding
commemorated in stone
at the synagogue
a recent wedding
two people from England
they must have local weddings too
a synagogue in full working order
big beautiful free-standing dome
not as big as the Duomo
but standing proud to be seen
from afar
Moorish style,
Byzantine probably
you could say
in the 19th century
of Christian reckoning
it was thought to be safe
to build such a large house of God
in the open
it was the age
of emancipation
modernity failed
Christianity failed
to prevent anything
although some were hidden
although some survived
most synagogues in Europe are gone
discussing religion
atheism whatever
the future of manunkind not
is all very idle
this is where we come from
if there is any we
this building
this city
this country
this wine
if there is
or was any we
this farmer’s wine
this countryside
this city
among many others
is where we are going
you don’t need machines
or hardly any
for this kind of history
you don’t need computers
not really
if there has been
if there can be any we

Zhao Siyun
LONG LIVE CHAIRMAN MAO
the former camp of the production brigade
has become our ancestral hall
we say the Zhao family temple
when I was small
every time I passed this place
I felt its mystery
people’s commune and county leaders would often gather
alcohol fumes drift through the air
none of us dared to steal a look at those dignified faces
at the spotted western wall
five classic characters written in lime:
LONG LIVE CHAIR-MAN MAO
solemn and serious
I thought there must be many officials in the whole country called Chairman Mao
and wondered if there was one in our production brigade

我以为全国有很多叫毛主席的大官儿
