Seit dem Wintersemester 2011/12 werden alle Studierenden der Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin (ASH) auf Spanisch begrüßt, denn der Preisträger des Alice Salomon Poetik Preises 2011, Eugen Gomringer, stellte sein Gedicht „avenidas“ für die Gestaltung der südlichen Außenwand der Hellersdorfer Hochschule bereit. Als Begründer der Konkreten Poesie und zugleich einer ihrer prominentesten Vertreter zählt Eugen Gomringer zu den bedeutendsten Autoren der deutschen Gegenwartsliteratur. „Wir freuen uns sehr über diese bleibende Erinnerung an unseren Poetikpreisträger Eugen Gomringer und sind uns sicher, dass die Strahlkraft des Kunstwerkes weit über unsere Hochschule und den Bezirk Hellersdorf hinausgeht“, so Prof. Dr. Theda Borde, Rektorin der ASH Berlin. Mit einer Fläche von 15 Metern Höhe mal 14 Metern Breite zählt das Kunstwerk zu den größten Gedichten an öffentlicher Wand.
In Anlehnung an die Konkrete Kunst prägte Eugen Gomringer in den 50er Jahren den Begriff Konkrete Poesie – eine Dichtkunst, die das „Sprachmaterial“ in den Vordergrund stellt…

MONTJUIC, BARCELONA
Montjuic means
mountain of the Jewish cemetery.
In the 1380s
the Jews were driven
out of the city,
gravestones were used
for castle walls.
1000 years ago
there was a light house.
Later the castles built on the top
were often used to shoot on the city.
There’s ample reason,
there are ample historical reasons
for independence.
Catalan language
is everywhere,
Catalan first, Spanish second.
The castle gives you
a history lesson
beginning in Hebrew
and a poem in Catalan.
Much of the city
was built from quarries
here on the mountain.
Today there is peace,
peace enough for reflection.
How much do you need,
how much cooperation,
how much solidarity,
how much economics,
how much is public transport…
What can you see
from the top of the mountain?

der traum wirkte uninteressant
vom aufstehen bis zum abend
hab ich die ganze zeit überlegt
schreiben oder nicht schreiben
anlass war in der nacht aufstehen
für den copa del rey
halbfinale
barça gegen atlético madrid
im traum kam genau
dasselbe spiel
der einzige unterschied war
die angriffslinie von barcelona
hab ich vorgezeichnet
mit einem pinsel
ein korridor in den wolken
messi reitet den nebel
ob ein nicht-fussballfan das kapiert
diese schönheit

an diesem abend
bevor ich barcelona schau
schau ich den todfeind real madrid
