Hier ist ein heiliger Ort.
In der Kirche,
auf dem Turm
und im Licht
über der Stadt.
Wir sind Funken,
jeder Mensch
jeder Stern
jedes Tier
ist ein kleiner Funken.
Vor zwölf Jahren
waren wir hier
im Abendlicht
am großen Tor.
Wir waren Touristen,
aber im Licht
waren wir Pilger.
Diese Stadt
ist nicht weit von Wien.
Die Geschichte
auf Deutsch und auf Tschechisch
und in vielen Sprachen,
die ist genauso alt
genauso grausam
genauso schön
ungefähr.

WIEDER IN DER SYNAGOGE IN SOPRON
In der kleinen Stadt Sopron in Ungarn
gibt es eine Synagoge aus dem Mittelalter.
Vor ein Dutzend Jahren war ich da,
hab ein Gedicht auf Englisch geschrieben,
über Europa in Trümmern.
Gibt es hier noch Juden?
Haben die Nazis alle ermordet?
Die mittelalterliche Synagoge
wurde 1954 entdeckt, dann
renoviert als Museum.
Ich spür eine Stille,
versunkene Zeit,
wie in einer Kirche.
Niemand kommt zum Gebet,
nur die Stille lädt ein,
zum Sitzen,
zum Schreiben.

汉语先锋·2021年度最佳诗歌100首｜维马丁《致西毒何殇》入选理由：又是一首外国人用中文写的诗，来自奥地利诗人、翻译家维马丁。这首诗非常中国，读来竟有某种中国古典诗歌的意境。一首短短的致友诗，其中包含着多重难以名状的情绪，有对友情的怀念，有对昔日不再有的怅惘，有对时代的忧伤，有对丢失事物的缅怀，有祝福，有叹息，娓娓道来，融为一体，万般滋味，化作绕指柔。其中有妙笔，尤其扣人心弦——“在那棵树下，我们多小。”(磨铁读诗会)

Unter dem Baum
sind wir alle so klein!
Das war ein herrlicher Ausflug,
wir haben jeder Gedichte geschrieben.
Zwei Jahre sind vergangen,
fühlt sich an wie zehn.
Es ist eine andere Zeit.
Der Baum
steht wahrscheinlich noch dort,
wir Menschen von damals
sind noch am Leben,
aber mir kommt vor
wir haben etwas verloren,

PILGERIN IM TRAUM
Ich schieb mich im Rollstuhl
zum Jokhang Tempel,
ringsum werfen sich Gläubige in den Staub.
Ich beuge die Taille,
lass den Kopf hängen,
die rechte Hand steuert im Schneckentempo,
die linke fingert Gebetsperlen,
ich murmle
Om Mani Padme Hum –
Plötzlich kann ich einem Schlagloch nicht ausweichen,
der Rollstuhl wackelt,
es macht einen Krach.
Ich flieg aus dem Rollstuhl,
lieg flach auf der Erde.
Handflächen auf dem Boden,
dann auch die Knie,
mein ganzer Körper.
Ich schlag mit der Stirn auf und mit den Händen
und kriech wie die anderen
die Straße entlang.

新世纪诗典第12季，NPC9月3日，4170首，1281人。第11个莲心儿（北京）日
这是今年8月去拉萨之前做梦而写下的一首梦诗，真正到达拉萨大昭寺时发现，没有土路土坑，有的是石板路石坑。
八廓街上朝拜的人们简直是太多了，我也跟着朝拜，不敢造次。梦中的场景恍惚间，现实中的拜谒得以实现。
从2017年转型至今已5年，一直在写的路上不曾倦怠。继续努力，奔向第二个10年。

伊沙推荐语：本诗是今夏绵阳诗会单场冠军诗篇。我记得那是最后一场，开了三天会，大家写得就比较趋同了，莲心儿这一首在其中一下子显出来，拿了冠军。这一年，陶醉在时事写作中的诗人，更容易趋同，诗的个人性弥足珍贵。上帝给你开了好多门，结果你长得跟谁都像。

Nach hundert Stufen
riech ich einen starken
Kerzenduft,
der Räucherduft überdeckt.
Im Räucherbecken sind abgebrannte Kerzen,

伊沙推荐：恕我直言，身为生于蓉城的长安人，每次返川参观诗人故居，我都是自惭形秽的，陕西待诗人太差了！身前身后都差！遭再大的报应都不为过（上世纪八十年代川陕诗歌对比便是最大的报应）！但在川内，也并非所有的诗人都能享有李杜的荣焉，今夏入川，在射洪陈子昂故居便深入体会，本诗将之写出来了，将陈子昂身前身后的寂寞写出来了。

致
西毒河殇
脸书告诉我
你今天不惑，
祝贺你！
去年你写诗非常好，
写了长篇小说，
看起来很棒！
脸书拿出来
我们当时合影，
在王维墓，
那棵大树之前
在那棵树下
我们多小！
我们都玩得很好，
都写了诗。
两年过了，
好像十年了，
时代不同了。
那棵树
估计还在，
我们几个人
大家都活着
却感觉到
失去了什么，
不只是岁月。
希望你好！

RAVENNA
All sorts of bands
and flowers and strands
and lines and motifs
lie intertwined
beneath the old church
of Santa Eufemia.
Take a close look,
they are dancing,
the lines and so on.
A big Roman house
with courtyards and tiles
all over the floors.
A dance of the seasons.
They say Summer is missing,
or maybe it’s Spring,
holding Winter’s hand,
like Autumn does
on the other side.
Winter is wrapped in blue,
around the head too.
Crooked lines come out
above the head.
Is it a fool?
They say it’s grass,
maybe reeds.
And there is a shepherd,
the second big mosaic,
also with a pan-flute.
Two storeys above
is the old city.
This city below was the western capital
of the Byzantine empire
among other things.
Then there is Dante,
buried in a mound
overgrown with green leaves
all-year round
in 1944 and 1945,
German hell-hounds were loose.
Maybe one year
his bones were in there,
the shape of the mound
reminded me of an old poetess
in China in Xi’an, formerly Chang’an,
the old capital.
Cai Wenji was her name.
Her mound is much bigger,
and very well kept,
much in contrast to all the graves
of famous male poets.
She was politically very important.
Back in Ravenna
in winter
wrapped against the cold

NEON
Neon reigned in 452.
No, this was the year
they built the mosaics
the wonderful dome
under bishop Neon.
It’s the Orthodox baptistery.
Much more elaborate
than the Arian one
across the old city.
Each apostle is named.
Most have a beard.
Simon looks like a woman.
The Arian dome
has only one throne
and here there are four,
they are all empty too
but there are also four books
in between, the four gospels.
Blessed are those whose iniquities
and sins are remitted,
says one inscription.

IVORY THRONE
The ivory throne
was for Bishop Maximian,
550 or something.
Joseph and his brothers.
Jesus feeds 5000 people.
The annunciation,
the water test
for Mary’s virginity.
What was that exactly?
Carved panels in different sizes
all around the back and on the sides.
Blank parts in between,
maybe panels are missing.
Ebony covered with ivory.
Somewhere in the museum
with Saint Andrew’s chapel,
wonderful mosaics.
Then in the afternoon
Saint Apollinaire in Classe.
Classe was the harbour
of the Roman fleet
and the main port
until the ninth century.
The church is huge,
and there were more,
there is a museum
in the sugar factory,
closed in 1982.
The sea isn’t far.

SAN VITALE IN RAVENNA
You know right away
you are in a place of worship.
In this way it’s like the Alhambra.
At least I hope the Alhambra retains it,
haven’t been there for 38 years.
A sense of awe
and exultation,
no matter how many people,
how many tourists.
Very big, very grand, spacious.
Filigree columns, needlework stone.
Very very high, many arches.
Mosaics.
Some of the best ones
in this splendid city.
A sacred place.
Stay.
The whole city is sacred.
Drink,
try to retain
some of this beauty.
