LIED AN DER GRENZE
Unterwegs zum Flughafen Baita,
auf dem Weg nach Haila’er
bin ich extra
zum Grab von Zhaojun gefahren.
Ich geh in die Ausstellung,
seh die Geschichtszeugnisse,
denk wie Zhaojun
aus der Hauptstadt Chang’an
tausend Meilen weit weg

1、诗达极境则意趣幽远;
2、对事与物的挖掘,以及其中的意与味,在于人性和智慧;
3、游若昕,女,2006年出生。福建宁德人。第七届李白诗歌奖金诗奖得主。中国口语诗年鉴编委。2021年获评《新世纪诗典》新世纪中国十大女诗人;
4、游若昕的诗,有着对现实深入的感受与理解,还有对生命深刻的领悟和启示,并时刻保持着一颗敏感而自然的敏锐洞察力,又不乏充实的感觉与意味;
5、回到本诗,典型的后口语诗的表达,在日常的生活与语言之间,将个人与历史人物进行了有效的融合,并联系上自身以及内心的思想状态,不仅有既视感,又不乏空间感;
6、诗一开头,去一个目的地的途中,突然改道至新的旅游景点,却由此触及历史的现实,而正是因为游玩,使得全诗颜色透彻而自然;
7、诗中文字干净细腻,情节曲折而不失质感,并且文字之间通透着思想的纹路和思维模式的变化,充满惊喜与思考;
8、一波三折之间,微妙的细节裸露,显现出对事物的独特感受和体验,并将历史的长河延绵出无限种可能性,饱满而且鲜活;
9、诗的结尾,是一记长长的问号,是一种心境,还是一个总结与反思;
10、本诗给予诗人的启示:“历史赋予生活的,不仅是政治,还有诗意的栖居与人生的感悟”;

BRATISLAVA II
the danube flows
in the evening people sit in the sun
on the southwestern side
in the summer months
there are concerts on the main square
and in the cafés
the views are great from the castle
and from the liberation monument
and cemetery further up
some of the soldiers buried are women
in the summer months
the synagogue is open
as a museum
they have a nice garden
it is a functioning synagogue
all year round
the only one left
they had bigger ones
even after the war
after the holocaust
now this is the only one left
they built a freeway
interstate quality
right through the old city
it’s a functioning freeway
it’s a beautiful city
shabby in places, but proud
somehow still healing
the danube flows

PHOTO
Third year in primary school,
our class goes to climb the Great Goose Pagoda.
As we line up
a group of tall and gleaming white
Europeans comes by.
An old lady
gently pulls me out of our ranks
for a photo together.
Our class monitor smiles on the side.
This morning
our group from China
comes to Cambodia’s Cultural Village.
From a mother who looks less than 40
I take a boy
to hold him for a photo.
Like holding
myself as a child.

EIFFEL TOWER
Going up the Eiffel tower
means walking up all the way
to the second platform
if you don’t have a ticket beforehand
and want to wait in the shortest line
at the south tier, which still takes an hour.
That is after you stood in line
and went through security
to get onto the square under the tower.
So the line takes an hour at least.
Then it costs 7 Euro per adult, 5 if you’re under 19,
3 under 10. That’s for walking up.
And we had walked all the way from the Louvre.
Through the Tuileries, took a left at the Obelisk
to get over the Seine. The Orangerie museum
looks interesting. We had already seen sculptures
by Germaine Richier and others in the Tuileries park.
I remember a sculpture by her in Bilbao at the art museum.
Would have loved to get a closer look in the Tuileries,
but they don’t let you walk on the grass. Weird sculptures,
not at all like the one in Bilbao. We had of course seen the Venus of Milo
and the winged Nike of Samothrake. No, those aren’t cereals.
And a hermaphrodite, son of Hermes and Aphrodite,
merged with a Nymph by Zeus at her urgent request.
Yes, male and female organs. Many, many Aphrodites,
many clothed, actually. Artemis, Pallas,
and all the men. Marsyas, soon to be flayed.
Not to speak of the paintings. Or the old Egypt stuff,
very well organized, shows daily life, work
and many, many details
from 4000 years ago and so on. Better than in Vienna.
Lots of busts and other stuff from Palmyra,
many other places in Syria. Yemen, too.
A whole room from Palmyra.
Anyway, up on the Eiffel tower.
Thousands of people up there at night.
Very special feeling. We had lunched in the park,
there is a place with benches on a little hill
very close to the tower. Yuhuan started sketching,
Including the lamppost in front of us. Everyone else flew
paper planes and ate and drank what was there
from the small supermarket
around the corner. Lunch at seven thirty or eight.
We came home to the hotel at two o’clock in the morning.
Subway at Bir Hakeim, not very close.
But interesting and working late. Some people get in free.
We are content with smuggling in a small child every time.
People ask for centimes when they’re asking for money.
Very polite, actually. Centimes, from the old currency.
Probably means fifty Euro cents now. I think one was asking for less
when I had my hands full this morning with groceries from the bakery
after getting up before noon. No, you don’t really notice
the permanent state of emergency
more than the propaganda for 2024,
for the Olympics. They made a deal with Los Angeles, right?
One comes first, one four years later.
Whatever. Should really eat something now.

MOSQUE & CASINO
Mosque and casino
both have Adam and Eve.
The casino in Singapore
at the Botanical Garden
greets you with Dali and with Botero.
Botero’s sculptures Adam and Eve
at the gate of the casino.
What would the artist think of this sight?
Art is a rather ambivalent thing.
Poetry makes you a better person?
The mosque in Malaysia’s government district
is a sight to behold.
I am folding my hands.
An old lady asks me if I am a Muslim.
I just bow and keep silent,
so she lets me go in
and helps me taking pictures.
She sees I don’t know how to pray
so she gives me a folder and tries to explain.
There’ll be prayer time in forty minutes.
Men at the bottom, women up there.
She hopes I can make it.
The folder says
Adam and Eve were also Muslims.
Adam was the first Prophet.
The Mosque has Quran editions in English.
I flip through a section.
Allah bestows many signs on mankind.
Sleep is also a sign,
along with creation
and languages and different colours.
We haven’t had enough sleep on this trip.
Soaring up with my eyes,
I think being a Muslim is good.
I know why it’s forbidden to make any idols.
Half an hour later we are drinking beer.
I am still a believer
in beauty in art.
Poetry and art are signs of Allah.

HEROES’ MONUMENT OF MALAYSIA
Was it a glorious thing when they died?
Did they go to war
for peace and freedom?
In World War I
In World War II
In civil war
they hardly had any choice.
In 1966
Malaysia’s prime minister had them erected
a park of monuments.
They already had one from World War I.
With names from Europe, also from India.
Probably officers.
To make this park for all those who died,
all those who gave their lives in the wars.
In 1966.
I was born in that year.
Maybe this monument
was a good idea.

DALI, BOTERO

Gao Ge
SMALL SOVEREIGN PATCH OF OUR COUNTRY
the tour bus was passing
a building
everyone only uses the back door
says our guide
all through the year
the front door is never open
everybody who works there
goes in from the back
I was just waking up
thought he was talking
about the cobra
research station

Gao Ge
EIN FLECKCHEN HEIMATERDE
der bus hat gerade
ein gebäude passiert
jeder benützt nur die hintertür
sagt unser führer
das ganze jahr
die vordertür ist nicht einen tag offen
alle die drinnen arbeiten
müssen immer von hinten hinein
ich war grad aufgewacht
hab gedacht er spricht
über das brillenschlangenlabor

JOURNEY TO SOUTHEAST ASIA《南行記》part 1
THE MOON IS FASTER THAN OTHER PEOPLE
people are slow here
says our guide
you have to get used to them
then it's dark in a jump
and the moon climbs very fast
to her highest position
guess she is happy
to serve Chinese tour groups
so these few years
she runs faster and faster
January 2016
SLEEPING PALACE
actually the palace is very still
tourists stream in and out
serious people stay in their pictures
the palace is sleeping in history
Bangkok, January 2016
IN THE EMPORIUM OF PRECIOUS STONES
in the emporium of precious stones
there is a smoking room
looks a bit like a prison.
men who need separation
quietly gather
with their heavy hearts
just for a short spell
then go on buying things
January 2016
TRANSVESTITES IN THAILAND
“some are half-demon, half-demon, half human.”
I am sure our guide is a man.
He is open-minded, just like his country.
“We in China this, China that …”
I wish his China was a real country.

VACATION
let us go diving into the deep.
last year in august someone in tianjin
said one thousand people had died.
he was put in jail.
let us go diving.
elections this year in taiwan.
first female president.
let’s go now, let’s go.
these few days someone gave an interview
voice of freedom or something
said the city he lived in
was not free
autonomous region was not autonomous.
let us go diving now.
he got fourteen years.
he wasn’t the first.
let’s go now, go.
there’ll be other things planned for the afternoon.
